On88 is more than just a name in the online betting industry. It is the result of a long-term commitment to delivering a safe, fair, and enjoyable gaming experience to millions of players across Malaysia.
On88 is an online betting platform founded with one clear goal — to be the most trusted, safest, and most enjoyable betting destination for players in Malaysia. Since launching, on88 has focused on the needs and preferences of local users, rather than simply offering products designed for a generic global market.
What sets on88 apart from other platforms starts with how we understand Malaysia's sports and gaming community. We know local players have distinct needs — from payment methods that work seamlessly for Malaysians, to support in Bahasa Malaysia, to relevant sports coverage such as the Malaysia League, badminton, and local esports. All of this has been central to building and growing on88 from day one.
The team behind on88 consists of seasoned professionals across the technology, finance, and digital entertainment industries. With this combined expertise, on88 has built a platform that is not only visually compelling but also robust in terms of security, reliability, and the breadth of products offered. Every update, every new feature, and every business decision we make is always oriented around the user experience.

Every great platform starts with a simple idea. For on88, that idea was born from the belief that Malaysian players deserve an online betting platform that truly understands their needs and preferences — not just a global platform roughly adapted for the local market.
On88 was founded by a team of technology and finance professionals with a vision to create a betting platform built specifically for the Malaysian market. Infrastructure development and security system work began in earnest.
On88 officially launched with a focus on sports betting and slots. The response from Malaysian players far exceeded expectations — within 6 months, on88 recorded over 100,000 new member registrations.
Recognising strong demand, on88 expanded its offering by adding an HD-quality Live Casino section and comprehensive esports coverage including Mobile Legends, DOTA 2, and CS2.
On88 successfully integrated FPX, Touch 'n Go eWallet, and GrabPay — making the deposit and withdrawal process easier and faster for Malaysian players than any competing platform at the time.
On88 membership has reached 500,000 active players. The platform was upgraded with a faster betting engine, a cleaner interface, and a more intuitive account management system.
On88 continues to grow with the addition of an integrated game lobby, a tiered loyalty rewards system, and more advanced live betting features — reinforcing on88's position as the top platform of choice for Malaysian players.
Player trust is on88's most valuable asset. That's why we ensure every aspect of this platform's operations complies with strict international industry standards — from licensing and game audits to player fund protection.

On88 believes that betting should be an enjoyable entertainment activity — not a source of stress or financial hardship. That is why we invest seriously in a comprehensive responsible gaming program to protect the well-being of every player on our platform.
We provide a range of self-control tools that can be activated directly from your on88 account settings — including daily deposit limits, weekly betting limits, monthly loss limits, and a temporary account break (self-exclusion) option for a duration you set yourself.
The on88 support team is also trained to identify signs of problem gambling and provide guidance or referrals to professional help resources when needed. We believe that a great betting platform not only offers compelling products but also safeguards the mental and financial well-being of its users.
Set the maximum deposit amount you can make per day or per week. This limit takes effect immediately upon saving and cannot be increased instantly — a waiting period is required for any changes.
Set a maximum net loss limit per month. Once this limit is reached, your on88 account will be automatically blocked from making new deposits until the next month begins.
Choose to take a break from the on88 platform for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or a longer period as needed. During the break, logging in to your account is not permitted.
If you need a long-term solution, on88 offers a permanent self-exclusion option that will permanently close your account and prevent re-registration using the same information.
There's something distinctly different about how on88 approaches the Malaysian market compared to other platforms. It goes beyond language translation or currency conversion. on88 is built on a deep understanding of real Malaysian culture, habits, and user needs — and that shows in every corner of the platform.
Take sports coverage as an example. Most international platforms focus exclusively on European leagues. on88 understands that Malaysian players have a strong passion for badminton, the Malaysia League, and local esports. So we invest greater resources to ensure coverage of these categories matches or surpasses European league coverage — something most of our competitors don't do.
On the payments front, on88 was among the first platforms to integrate Touch 'n Go eWallet and GrabPay as official payment methods. This was no coincidence — it was a data-driven decision reflecting that Malaysian players strongly prefer convenient transactions without relying on credit cards or time-consuming traditional bank transfers.
Malay-language support at on88 is not merely an added convenience — it is a fundamental requirement. Our customer support team is not only fluent in Malay but also understands the local context, enabling them to provide more relevant and effective assistance to every player who reaches out to us.
On88 is also active in developing educational content on responsible betting strategies, game guides, and sports analysis articles written especially in the Malaysian language. Our goal is to help players make smarter decisions — not simply to encourage them to bet more.
Going forward, on88 will continue to grow by adding more game categories, enhancing the bonus and rewards system, and expanding payment options to include more Malaysian digital wallets. We are also developing a tiered loyalty programme that will deliver more exclusive benefits to dedicated on88 members who have been with us from the start.
We understand that trust is not built in a day — it is built through consistency, transparency, and actions that repeatedly prove your platform can be relied upon. That has been on88's approach from day one, and it will continue to guide every decision we make for this platform and for the Malaysian player community we care deeply about.
"We don't want to be the biggest betting platform in the world. We want to be the most trusted, fairest, and most loved betting platform by Malaysian players. If we get that right, everything else will follow."
On88 has received recognition from several international industry bodies as one of the most trusted and most innovative online betting platforms in the Southeast Asian region.
